Santa Monica resident Audra Lalley was recently names as one of five new trustees appointed to the College of William & Mary Foundation’s governing board.

The College of William & Mary Foundation is a nonprofit corporation and public charity that seeks and manages private support for the College of William & Mary, the nation’s second-oldest institution of higher education, founded in 1693.

An independent volunteer board of approximately 40 trustees leads the Foundation and advises staff members on the investment and management of gifts.

Prior to joining Barclays, she was an investment advisor in the Private Wealth Management Division of Morgan Stanley, and before that with Goldman, Sachs & Co. She started her career with KPMG as a consultant in the financial institutions group, and then served GE Capital in portfolio management.

Lalley completed two terms on the Swem Library Board of Directors, for which she served as board chair and chair of the Development Committee. She served as activities co-chair of the Class of 1990’s 15th reunion. At William & Mary, Lalley was on the Tribe swimming and diving team, was a member of the Greek system, and was on the Student-Alumni Liaison Council.
