Landslide Closes Pacific Coast Highway Near Santa Monica:

Bulldozers work to remove debris from the Pacific Coast Highway in Pacific Palisades.

The City of Malibu Emergency Services has issued an advisory that the Pacific Coast Highway near Santa Monica remains closed in the northbound lanes following an overnight landslide.

The northbound PCH lanes between Sunset Boulevard and Temescal Canyon Road in Pacific Palisades were closed at approximately 4 am.

Bulldozers are currently working to remove debris off the road, but officials have not given an estimate to when the lanes would reopen.
