Santa Monica Detectives Investigate Attempted Murder In Euclid Street Alley:

Santa Monica detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in regards to an attempted murder incident on Monday evening.

SMPD Lt. Richard Lewis said 911 dispatchers received a call at 7:27 pm of several subjects fighting in the alley to the rear of 1800 Euclid Street (east alley).

“As officers arrived, they found one male adult and one female adult in the alley in the 1900 block, both suffering from multiple stab wounds,” Lewis said. “Both victims were transported to a local trauma center and are expected to survive. The victims are uncooperative and it is unknown if the fight is gang related at this time.”

Lewis said investigators responded and the incident is ongoing.

“The victims’ names are not being released at this time as the investigation is in it’s preliminary stages and no suspects have been identified or taken into custody.”

Investigators are asking that if anyone witnessed the incident to call 310.458.8451 and ask for Robbery/Homicide.
