Santa Monica Museum of Flying To Screen “Rightfooted” Oct. 5:

The Santa Monica Museum of Flying will present a screening of the documentary “Rightfooted” next weekend as part of its Aviation Presentation series.

The film tells the amazing story of armless pilot Jessica Cox. The program is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5 with presentations at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm in the Museum screening room.

The film is directed by Nick T. Spark who is noted for producing the documentary film “The Legend of Pancho Barnes and the Happy Bottom Riding Club.”

The presentation will be hosted by Nick T. Spark and will feature segments of footage that will be included in the final production.

He will share his first-hand experiences with Jessica Cox and describe how she overcame a childhood birth defect of being born with no arms.

Jessica never let this disability stand in her way. She is completely independent, has a college degree, drives a car, and is married. She even flies an airplane with her feet.

The presentation is limited to the first 35 attendees. You can read more about this story at www.Rightfootedmovie.com.

The Museum of Flying is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is currently open Friday through Sunday from 10 am until 5 pm. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors/students, and $6 for children aged 6 to 12. Children aged 5 and under are free.

The Museum is adjacent to the Santa Monica Airport and is located at 3100 Airport Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90405.
