SmART Space Opens in Culver City:

Located in a bright green building at 12958 Washington Boulevard in Culver City, SmART Space opened its doors on August 20, with a kick-off celebration of the arts that featured class demonstrations, art playtime, face painting, and other activities for kids and families.

SmART Space offers classes, workshops and parties for children ages 3 months to 10 years to spur their creativity. Among the classes are Messy Art, Dramagination, Mommy and Me Bellydance, Storybook Ballet and Yoga Boogie.

“SmART Space places a huge emphasis on innovation and a hands-on approach,” says founder Juliet Curry. “Our instructors are all working artists who really enjoy teaching and sharing their expertise. Our staff includes dancers who choreograph videos and dance with professional dance companies, painters who sell and exhibit work in galleries, actors who write shows, and musicians who perform in bands.”For a class schedule or more information, call (310) 827-2458 or browse online at www.smartspaceLA.com.
