Santa Monica Little League has rescheduled its opening day for baseball to next Saturday, March 15. It was previously scheduled for March 1, but was canceled due to rain.
It will start at 9 am and the first game will kick off at 11 am.
SMLL will also be holding their second annual Rosti Home Run Derby with the winner receiving a year supply of pizza.
The Santa Monica Fire Department will also be on hand supporting SMLL and Santa Monica Police Chief Jacqueline Seabrooks will be throwing out the first pitch.
