Santa Monica Palisades Park presents a Tree Rededication to Late Mayor Ken Edwards at 6 pm this Wednesday, April 16.

Thirty years after Mayor Edwards proclaimed the Santa Monica Children’s Tree of Life as a “living monument to world peace,” this event will be held in commemoration of the tree’s first planting.

The evening will feature guest speakers and musical performers.

It will be located at Santa Monica Palisades Park at Ocean Avenue and Colorado Avenue.
