Santa Monica Public Library Hosts Medicare 101 Workshops Starting Tuesday:

The Santa Monica Public Library hosts Medicare 101 workshops at all four branch locations in October and November.

Get answers to healthcare and Medicare questions at one or all of the following library locations:

— Ocean Park branch, 2601 Main St.: Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 7 pm

— Fairview branch, 2101 Ocean Park Blvd.: Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 6 pm

— Pico branch, 2201 Pico Blvd.: Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 6 pm

— Montana Ave. branch, 1704 Montana Ave.: Thursday, Nov. 20 at 6 pm

All workshops will be presented by local Medicare expert Samuel Schwartz.

Schwartz has been providing educational Medicare seminars for over two years in Los Angeles and Santa Monica.

A native Angeleno, he works closely with medical groups throughout Southern California, educating doctors, medical staff, and Medicare beneficiaries. Participants are encouraged to bring any and all questions to the workshop.

These workshops are free and open to the public. Seating is limited and on a first arrival basis. The Santa Monica Public Library is wheelchair accessible.

The Santa Monica branch libraries are served by Big Blue Bus lines #1 and #8 for the Ocean Park Branch, #8 for the Fairview Branch, #7 for the Pico Branch, and #3M and the 41 Crosstown Ride for the Montana Avenue Branch.
