Man Threatens Santa Monica Domino’s Employee With Knife, Arrested:

Bail was set at $50,000 for a man who pulled out a Swiss Army knife with blade protruding and threatened a Santa Monica Domino’s Pizza employee on Thursday, Nov. 6.

Officers of the Santa Monica Police Department were called out to investigate a report of a man who had been sitting outside the fast food store at 1865 Lincoln Boulevard, and harassing passing citizens at 12:20 pm on this day.

The officers were told that an employee from the Domino’s Pizza had exited the restaurant and had asked the suspect to leave the area, and that in response to this request the suspect had become angry and then removed a multipurpose tool (of the kind commonly associated with the army of Switzerland), extended a blade from the multipurpose tool, and threatened to stab the employee.

The employee had responded by hastening back into the restaurant and locking the door before he called the police.

When the officers arrived they soon spotted the suspect and took him into custody.

The officers transported this 54-year-old man to jail and during the trip the man allegedly made repeated threats against the Domino’s Pizza employee.

This man was later charged with making criminal threats.
