Street Resurfacing Shuts Down Streets Near LAX:

Street resurfacing work will shut down some streets near Los Angeles International Airport this weekend, authorities said.

All of the work will take place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. today and Sunday, according to Los Angeles World Airports, which operates LAX.

Westchester Parkway will be closed between Pershing Drive and Sepulveda Boulevard; and Stanmoor Drive will be closed from La Tijera Boulevard to Westchester Parkway, LAWA said.

Also closed will be the right-hand lane approach from northbound Pershing Drive to Westchester Parkway and the left-turn lane of southbound Pershing Drive at Westchester Parkway.
