Girls Top Nanoscience Competition

Five Lincoln Middle School eighth graders gave it to their high school counterparts, taking out first place at the recent Nanoscience convention held at UCLA.

The team, comprising of five brilliant young women: Dani Barrett, Rachel Rothschild, Sophie Rosenblum, Layla Shapuri and London Wilkes, showed the competition what Santa Monica’s best has to offer, scoring $2,000 for their school after tying for first with a high school team.
