Sound Bodies and Minds: Lincoln Middle School Gets into Shape With Fitness Center

Lincoln Middle School and representatives from the UCLA Health Sound Body Sound Mind program celebrated Friday May 12, the opening of the school’s new $40,000-fitness center. A ribbon cutting ceremony that included UCLA Health president Johnese Spisso, school principal Florence Culpepper and Robert Klein, president of Saint John’s Health Center officially opened the new center. Students performed in the school’s auditorium at an assembly, then tried out the incredible fitness equipment – including dozens of awesome spin bikes.
