Wassup Rockers Hang in Venice:

The Wassup Rockers cast spent some time skateboarding in Venice last month.

Director Larry Clark originally met the teenage stars of the film – who are not actors – when they were skateboarding in Venice several years ago. The South Central kids used to take two buses to get to Venice to skate. The film focuses on an excursion the kids take to Beverly Hills, and how the ghetto kids are treated in the rich enclave, where most residents only know brown people who are maids, nannies, busboys and gardeners.
