Shooting Victim in Critical Condition:

A 25-year-old male gunshot victim has been linked to a shooting Sunday, November 12, in Santa Monica.  Police responded around 2 p.m. to shots fired on the corner of 11th Street and Michigan Avenue. When they arrived, a canvas of the area for witnesses or victims found neither.  The victim, with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and forearm, remains in critical condition at a local hospital. 

Police say the young man was on the 1800 block of 11th Street with a friend when shots rang out.  He was rushed to the hospital before police arrived on the scene.  Witnesses saw a brown car leaving the scene shortly after gunshots were fired.
