Huckleberry Bakery & Café is gearing up to provide a delectable, farmer’s market-inspired spread for the High Holidays, available for pre-order through their website. Each meal serves four people and includes convenient heat and serving instructions.

For Rosh Hashanah, running from September 15th to 17th, diners can enjoy a feast that features a whole Mary’s Organic Apple Honey Glazed Chicken atop a bed of herby pearl couscous. Also on the menu is Zoe Nathan’s beloved Grass-Fed Braised Brisket, Milo + Olive’s Round Braided Challah, comforting Matzo Ball Soup, Roasted Squash and carrots with honey-date butter, Honey Glazed Baked Apples topped with walnut oat crumble, and more. The deadline for orders is September 10th.

For Yom Kippur, available on September 25th, guests can break their fast with a housemade Scottish Salmon Lox Platter showcasing fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled red onions, capers, and lemon-herb whipped cream cheese, all served with Milo + Olive bagels. Other options include a Farmers’ Market Vegetable Quiche with a cornmeal cheddar-thyme butter crust, Organic Potato Pancakes with organic sour cream and housemade apple sauce, Sweet Noodle Kugel with golden raisin and cookie crumble, among other delectable offerings. The order deadline is September 19th.

Birdie G’s, known for its creative twists on tradition, also joins the High Holiday festivities with a special menu available from September 14th to 17th for Rosh Hashanah and from September 23rd to 25th for Yom Kippur. Customers can pre-order these dishes through the restaurant’s website, with a 72-hour notice for preferred pickup or delivery.

The catering menu boasts tantalizing options like a succulent Whole Chicken roasted with black lime and fenugreek, Prime Corned Beef Tri-Tip with smoked tomato remoulade, Curried Carrot “Tzimmes” with pine nut and raisins, Apple-Sunchoke Cake with hazelnut and caramel sauce, along with signature dishes such as Southern Kugel with chow-chow, pecan, and sage brown butter, Pickled Beets with horseradish cream, capers, pickled onion, dill, and everything spice, and the earthy, carrot-miso laced Matzo Ball Soup. Each order serves approximately 4-6 people and includes detailed heat and serve instructions.
Additionally, Birdie G’s plans to offer dine-in specials during the High Holidays, ensuring a delightful culinary experience for all who choose to celebrate at the restaurant.
