Over 50 Santa Monica Restaurants to Showcase Cuisine in DineLA 2025

Restaurants across the coastal city are offering curated lunch and dinner menus reflecting a wide variety of global cuisines

From beachside steakhouses to upscale sushi spots, more than 50 Santa Monica restaurants will take part in DineLA 2025, the citywide culinary event returning July 25 through August 8.

Organized by Los Angeles Tourism, DineLA Restaurant Week highlights LA’s rich culinary diversity through special prix-fixe menus ranging from $15 to $65 and above. Now in its 17th year, the summer edition will feature nearly 450 restaurants — the largest lineup in the program’s history — with Santa Monica standing out as a key destination.

Restaurants across the coastal city are offering curated lunch and dinner menus reflecting a wide variety of global cuisines. Notable participants include Mélisse, the two Michelin-starred French fine-dining landmark offering dinners at $65 and above, and The Lobster, perched on Ocean Avenue, serving both lunch and dinner at the top-tier price point.

Santa Monica’s culinary diversity is on full display. Seafood lovers can explore Blue Plate Oysterette, Luke’s Lobster, Edgemar Restaurant & Lounge, and Patio del Mar, each offering coastal fare with lunch and dinner options ranging from $25 to $65+. Meanwhile, steakhouse experiences at BOA, Fia Steak, and Fogo de Chão are set to attract diners looking for high-end meat-centric menus.

For a more casual experience, options like The Whaler, Socalo, Tiato Kitchen, and UOVO will offer lunch starting at just $25, giving locals and tourists alike a chance to sample Santa Monica’s culinary offerings at accessible prices.

Diners can also enjoy meals from globally inspired eateries, including Fitoor for Indian, Chinois on Main for Chinese fusion, Solidarity Restaurant for Polish, and Orla by Michael Mina, a Mediterranean newcomer inside the newly opened Regent Santa Monica Beach Hotel.

Several hotels, including Shutters on the Beach, The Shore Hotel, and Fairmont Miramar, are bundling their in-house restaurants with “Dine + Stay” packages, encouraging visitors to make a weekend of their dining experience. Participating venues include 1 Pico, Soko Sushi, Palma, and The Penthouse at The Huntley.

“DineLA is more than just a celebration of LA’s food — it’s a moment to support the chefs, restaurateurs, and teams who continue to shape the city’s culinary culture,” said Stacey Sun, Executive Director of DineLA. “Santa Monica’s participation reflects the city’s important place in that story.”
