LA Metro Offers Free Stadium Express Service for World Series

The express service will run for Games 3, 4 and 5, scheduled for Oct. 27, 28 and 29

Baseball fans heading to Dodger Stadium for the 2025 World Series can ride to the ballpark for free on LA Metro’s Dodger Stadium Express, officials announced.

The express service will run for Games 3, 4 and 5, scheduled for Oct. 27, 28 and 29. Buses will begin departing two and a half hours before each game.

Fans can board from two main locations: Union Station in downtown Los Angeles and the Harbor Gateway Transit Center in Gardena.

At Union Station, buses will depart every 5 to 7 minutes from the west side of the station, outside the Fred Harvey building on Alameda Street. Parking is available for $8, but Metro officials warned that lots are expected to fill early and urged riders to take the A, B, D or J Lines—or Metrolink and Amtrak services—into downtown before transferring to the Express.

Return buses from Dodger Stadium will operate until 45 minutes after the final out or 20 minutes after any postgame events. Fans can board at stops behind center field or the top deck.

At the Harbor Gateway Transit Center, buses will run every 30 minutes from Bay 9 and make stops along the I-110 corridor at Slauson, Manchester, Harbor Freeway and Rosecrans stations. The last return trip departs 45 minutes after each game. Regular fares apply for connecting services, including the Metro J Line and Torrance Transit.

Riders must have their own TAP card to use Metro services. Officials recommend loading fares in advance or using a digital TAP card available through Metro’s mobile app.
