More than 300 local artists, designers and makers will line the street
The Westside’s largest holiday block party returns Saturday when Venice Winter Fest transforms a stretch of Venice Boulevard in Mar Vista into a retro ski-lodge-meets-surf-culture winter wonderland.
The free, all-ages event runs Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along Venice Boulevard between Centinela and Inglewood avenues, centered at 12257 Venice Blvd.
More than 300 local artists, designers and makers will line the street with one-of-a-kind gifts, turning the festival into a major shop-small holiday market. Food trucks and “après bites” stations will serve seasonal food and drinks, including hot cocoa.
Families can take photos with Santa at a Venice Paparazzi holiday booth, enjoy cozy photo installations, play winter-themed games and listen to live music and DJ sets throughout the day. The event is dog-friendly.
Organizers describe the vibe as “100% good vibes” and a laid-back Westside kickoff to the holiday season.
The festival is open to the public with no tickets required.
