Twenty-five pianists ages 16 to 30 from 13 countries will compete for top honors and a $10,000 prize in the 4th American International Paderewski Piano Competition, set to run Feb. 9–14 at Loyola Marymount University’s Murphy Recital Hall.
The event, organized by the Paderewski Music Society of Los Angeles, features semifinal rounds Monday through Wednesday, Feb. 9–11, beginning at 1 p.m. each day, with finals on Friday, Feb. 13, in three sessions from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. A winners concert and reception are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 14, at 5 p.m.
