Local Argentinian restaurateur behind key visual moment in Super Bowl Halftime Show

Fuegos LA co-owner Fede Laboureau served as production designer for the “la casita.”

One of the biggest events of 2026 so far has more than one local connection. Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show was spectacular, and the talk of the nation, and many pointed out that Villa’s Tacos and its owner had a cameo appearance during the show.

But Fuegos LA, a restaurant located at 3957 South Western Avenue, is owned by two Argentinians, Fede Laboureau and Max Pizzi, who both have a background in production design. The restaurant is known for its empanadas, beef, and Argentinian atmosphere.

Fede Laboureau announced, via social media, that he was the production designer for the beautiful house, or la casita, that Bad Bunny, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, falls into and then kicks the door open to return to the joyful celebration. It’s not surprising that Latinos from different parts of the Americas were involved because the show was meant to be emblematic of many different parts of Latino culture and a unifying force.

Laboureau said, “Being part of the Super Bowl means representing our whole community! We’re showing the world exactly how powerful Latinos are. We have the tenacity and the perseverance to overcome anything—now with @maximilianpizzi just harvesting the seeds you guys watched us plant.”
