Diamond Ranch High of Pomona, the team that eliminated Santa Monica High in the first round of the CIF baseball Division 4 playoffs, advanced to the championship game but lost to Northview of Covina, 1-0.
The title game was played Friday, May 30 at Dodger Stadium.
A year ago it was Samohi that reached the championship game but was defeated.
Northview last won a division title in 1971.
