The 100th anniversary of the Azusa Street Revival is coming up. The Azusa Street Centennial will celebrate the modern Pentecostal and Charismatic movements. Almost 1/3 of the world’s Christians fall into the Charismatic or Pentecostal categories.
Many thousands are expected at events to be held at the Sports Arena, the Coliseum and the Convention Center on April 25-29. Local churches involved include West Angeles Cathedral and Crenshaw Christian Center. On April 29, goods filling 30 semi trucks will be delivered to in-need neighborhoods all over Los Angeles.
