Master Barbers Steve Moran and his partner Robert Echiribel celebrated the grand opening of their new business Active Barbers at 2509 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica last Friday.
Santa Monica Mayor Pam O’Connor, Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce president Laurel Rosen, and other business leaders attended the ribbon cutting ceremony. Two dozen doves were let loose at the moment of the ribbon cutting.
The “Westside Originals” (Classic Car Club) lined the street with low riders while friends and family of the pair lined the sidewalk. A champagne toast and cake was served after the ceremony.
