Burts in Venice:

April marks the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, and Burt’s Bees, a line of all natural personal care products & recycled packaging, started celebrating Earth Day on the Venice Beach boardwalk with a novelty promotion encouraging community members to channel their “inner-Burt” on Friday, April 2. A street team handed out Burt-inspired faux beards and hats just like the company’s co-founder Burt Shavitz. Many Bert look-a-likes were on hand making all-natural smoothies with bike-powered blenders.
