Caltrans To Close One Southbound PCH Lane Today For Barrier Installation:

One lane of southbound Pacific Coast Highway will be closed in the Malibu area today so Caltrans crews can move concrete barriers that are in danger of falling down eroded hillsides.

Southbound PCH between Big Rock Drive and Las Tunas Beach will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to Caltrans.

Crews will be relocating k-rail barriers along the roadway to move them away from the hillsides, which were eroded by recent large waves that pounded the coast due to hurricanes in Mexico.
