Electricity Cut To Malibu Colony Near Civic Center:

Electricity was cut to the Malibu Colony and some homes along the beach near the Malibu Civic Center today.

Southern California Edison crews needed to make urgent repairs to an overhead circuit there, according to a spokesperson at the City of Malibu.

The repairs follow a minor pole fire on Malibu Road at the Civic Center on Friday, a sheriff’s deputy said. There was no indication of a crash.

No estimated time for completion of the repairs was given.
