The third annual Franciscan Blessing of Animals offered by the St. Monica Parish Community saw a large turnout at Reed Park on Sunday, October 5, across from St. Monica’s. Pictured is Father Michael Tang, who chairs the Fine Arts Department at Loyola Marymount University, who blessed animals throughout the afternoon, including Wasabi Saki, left, and Ginger Plum, seen with their owner, Jill Riedmiller of Santa Monica.
