K-9 connection project director speakes to begin the graduation ceremony in front of the K9 graduates and Peer Leaders at Virgina Park in Santa Monica California on Friday July 28th 2017. K-9 connection takes dogs that are in shleters and pairs them up with students from the teen center in Santa Monica for basic training. Students are able to earn community service credits and during the school year the students can earn off detention hours with this service
