Library Cards Available Now:

The Santa Monica Public Library wants you to know September is Library Card Sign-up Month. Now’s the time to renew your card, get a brand new card or bring your children in for their very first library card.

Millions of children throughout the country read at a level below their true abilities. “A library card has always been the most important school supply of all,” says Greg Mullen, City Librarian. “Kids can come to the library to get homework help and check out books, but they can also check out free music, DVDs, use the Internet or participate in a program to make after school life a little more fun. There’s a lot happening for all ages and interests at the Santa Monica Public Library.”

For more information, visit any library branch or go to www.smpl.org.
