There were twelve 3-round bouts of amateur boxing starting with the young boxers from the Boys & Girls Club, moving on to the fighters from Venice High School, and then the Marines vs. Army, UCLA vs. USC, and a great finale pitting the Los Angeles Fire Department against the LA County Sheriffs. Muscle Beach Amateur Boxing was presented by Pro Fight.
