By Zach Armstrong

A man fled from the scene after his vehicle crashed into another parked on Main Street within Venice.

On Sunday, June 2, just after 6 a.m., LAFD received a traffic collision report at the 1100 block of S Main Street, one block away from the Westminster Dog Park. According to LAPD, an unidentified male exited the vehicle and fled on foot. No additional information was available from LAPD or LAFD at the time of this writing.

Photos sent to Mirror Media Group by Moss Charles, whose YouTube account @worldofmoss captured footage of the collision’s aftermath, show a substantial blaze in between two vehicles on the side of Main Street. Based on those images, it appears a small black sedan rammed into the back of a larger gray SUV, with most of the subsequent fire engulfing the former’s hood and windshield.

In the YouTube videos, two fire trucks can be seen taking up both lanes on Main Street while several firefighters are on scene examining the damaged vehicles.
