A 68-year-old Encino man was killed when the vehicle he was driving went off the road and down a steep hill in Malibu, authorities said Wednesday.

The crash of the 2013 Toyota was reported at 6:47 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Malibu Canyon Road, south of Piuma Road, according to the California Highway patrol.
