Mar Vista Gets a New Farmer’s Market:

Beginning Sunday, August 6, Mar Vista will have a weekly Farmers’ Market.

“I am thrilled to have a Farmers’ Market opening in Mar Vista,” Councilman and Mar Vista resident Bill Rosendahl said. “Through the leadership of dedicated community members, Mar Vista will now have a market that will bring the neighborhood together for fresh, healthy, locally grown produce. I look forward to shopping at such a great place.” Councilman Rosendahl will be attending the opening ceremony at 10am.

The Grand Opening is Sunday, August 6 from 9am-1pm. Thereafter, the market will take place every Sunday, 9am-1pm, on Grandview Blvd. between Venice Blvd. and Pacific Ave.
