Buena Vida Tea now open at 726 Montana Avenue

By Dolores Quintana

Buena Vida Tea has fully opened its tea bar and patio at 726 Montana Avenue in Santa Monica after a long journey of two years.

The opening was delayed by the pandemic, but now the Montana community and all of Los Angeles can now enjoy Buena Vida’s fine organic teas and pastries in a most relaxing atmosphere.

Mayra Vazquez, tearista and founder of Buena Vida said, “Opening Buena Vida was challenging, but the welcome from the community has been amazing. It’s very exciting. People have said that they have been waiting for two years for the shop to open. Getting to know the community and the families who come to the shop has been awesome.” Vazquez, who formerly worked in the recording industry, has a passion for tea and told us what makes Buena Vida different, “What sets us apart is the quality of the tea, the customer service, and the urban patio. The feedback on the tea is great, very complimentary.”

With their urban patio tea service, they seek to give their customers the classic California Coastal vibe and they work with local pastry chefs to bring a selection of the best pastries the area has to offer.
