Palisades Loses Final in City Tennis Tournament:

Defending champion Palisades High lost to Taft High, 22-8, in the championship match of the Los Angeles City Section tennis tournament.

The match was played at the Balboa Sports Complex on Friday, May 11.

Palisades had eliminated Taft in the semifinals each of the last two years.

Matt Goodman, Justin Atlan, Ariel Oleynik and Kyung Choi each won a singles set for Palisades, which finished the season with a 22-4 record.
