An oceanfront estate in Malibu’s Paradise Cove has been listed for $74.5 million, adding another high-priced property to Southern California’s luxury real estate market.

The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom compound at 27832 Pacific Coast Highway spans about 8,775 square feet on roughly 2.27 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean, according to the listing by Kurt Rappaport.

The property was designed by architect Marc Appleton and completed in 1994. The home draws architectural influence from coastal villages in Greece, with white plaster walls, domed and vaulted rooflines, courtyards and detached living spaces connected by breezeways.

The estate includes a main residence, guest house and staff quarters, along with a tennis court and swimming pool. A private path leads from the property to the beach below, where the listing says the estate includes a beachside bar area.

The primary suite includes a private terrace, fireplace and separate sitting room. Three additional bedrooms in the main house each feature wood-burning fireplaces. The property also includes formal dining and entertainment spaces positioned to face unobstructed ocean views.
