Paramore’s Hayley Williams debuts ‘The Parachute’ taco at HomeState to benefit the Immigrant Defenders Law Center

The singer partners with HomeState for a limited-edition vegetarian taco to raise funds for L.A.’s largest deportation defense firm.

Paramore frontperson Hayley Williams has partnered with Tex-Mex staple HomeState to debut “The Parachute,” a limited-edition vegetarian taco benefiting deportation defense services, the restaurant has announced.

The collaboration marks the latest entry in HomeState’s Band Taco Program, a philanthropic initiative that has raised more than $500,000 for nonprofit organizations since its inception in 2015. Available through May 17, 2026, at all HomeState locations, “The Parachute” features a blend of mushrooms, black beans, lettuce, Monterey Jack cheese, and crunchy tortilla strips, topped with a house-made tomatillo ranch and wrapped in a signature flour tortilla.

For every taco sold, $1 will be donated to the Immigrant Defenders Law Center (ImmDef). The California-based nonprofit serves as the state’s largest deportation defense law firm, providing pro bono legal representation to individuals navigating the immigration system.

Williams, a three-time Grammy Award winner, joins an elite roster of past program collaborators that includes Questlove, Phoebe Bridgers, Vampire Weekend, LCD Soundsystem, The Marías, and Fred Armisen, with whom Hayley collaborated on a special announcement video for The Parachute.

The singer-songwriter recently launched her debut solo tour following the critical success of her 2025 album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party. Her tour includes a three-night residency in Los Angeles on May 12, 13, and 15.
