Pico Barber’s Second Annual Toy Drive:

Pico Barbershop is offering free haircuts today (Dec. 12) from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. to anyone who brings in an unwrapped gift for 100 disadvantaged and less fortunate Santa Monica Pico Neighborhood children.

Last year Pico Barbers collected nearly 200 gifts and donated them to the homeless service agency OPCC. There will be free food and classic car display sponsored by local car clubs. Pico Barber shop is located at 1840 Lincoln Blvd.

“We received a lot of support from our loyal customers and community members, so we decided to make this an annual tradition,” said Pico Barber’s owner Lino Lares.

The toys will be distributed to children from the Pico Neighborhood at Virginia Avenue Park’s Teen Center Annual Posada which will take place on Thursday December 16th from 6 to 8:30pm.
