Santa Monica Planetarium Presents Moon & Ice Giants In The Eyepiece Friday Night:

The Santa Monica College John Drescher Planetarium presents “Special Observing Event: The Moon & Ice Giants in the Eyepiece,” which will give participants a chance to peer at the waxing moon and – if the sky is clear – Neptune and Uranus.

If clouds intervene, high-resolution images of the moon and other fascinating wonders of the sky will be shown inside the Planetarium.

The show is at 8 p.m., preceded by “The Night Sky Show” at 7 p.m.

It is at the second floor of Drescher Hall, 1900 Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica. Admission $6.

For more information, call 310.434.3005 or visit smc.edu/planetarium.
