SMPD post bulletin surrounding November, 2020 incident
Santa Monica police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect wanted for assaulting an elderly victim.
According to the Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD), on November 11, 2020 around 4 a.m. a suspect attacked and attempted to rob an elderly man in the area of 4th Street and Arizona Avenue.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, around 20 years old, with dark short hair and clean shaven. At the time of the attack he was wearing a yellow t-shirt with what appeared to be Hawaiian-style flowers printed on the back along the top, faded blue jeans and white shoes with red and blue striping on the heels.
