Small 2.7 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Two Miles Southeast Of Malibu:

The small earthquake struck two miles southeast of Malibu.

A 2.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Santa Monica Bay at 10:57 pm Thursday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It struck at eight miles deep two miles southeast of Malibu. No damage has been reported.

It comes just about a week after a 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck two miles southeast of Marina Del Rey at 7:52 pm last Friday night, which struck at a depth of eight miles.
