The Chamber’s Fitness Festival Encourages Healthy Lifestyles:

Trainers on the Westside

The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce on Saturday hosted a free fitness festival for the entire family, complete with live dance classes, yoga, and health and fitness screenings and live entertainment.

Held on the Third Street Promenade, Chamber member organizations gathered at the Festival to share expertise, advice, and product samples that promote a healthy and happy lifestyle for the entire Santa Monica Community.

This year’s event also featured a “Trainer Challenge.” Trainers on the Westside were encouraged to compete in a series of events for the title of Santa Monica’s Best Trainer.

Judges included Lori Corbin, Food Coach, KABC-TV, and Andy Pritikin.

The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce advocates and represents business’ interests and issues affecting the community.

They provide the environment to help members prosper and succeed through a proactive working partnership with all levels of government and community organization.
