Want to Work Out? Memorial Park Fitness Room Extends Hours

According to the City of Santa Monica, Memorial Park Fitness Room will open three hours earlier from July 2. Set to open at 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday – Friday, you can work out at your leisure.

A variety of weight and cardio machines are available, as well as free weights. Drop in, or purchase a monthly membership. Guests must be 16 years of age or older to use the facility.

“The Memorial Park Fitness Room is an affordable, low key, no fuss gym,” said Bradley Albert, Community Recreation Manager. “It has become more popular over the past year and we’re thrilled to be able to extend the hours of the space in order to serve more community members.”

Beginning July 2 –

Fitness Room Weekday Hours

Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Fitness Room Weekend Hours

Sat – Sun, 1 – 7 p.m.

Santa Monica Resident Fees

Adults: $3 Daily, $24 Monthly

Older Adults (50+): $1.50 Daily, $12 Monthly

Non-Santa Monica Resident Fees

Adults: $4 Daily, $32 Monthly

Older Adults (50+): $2 Daily, $16 Monthly

The Fitness Room is located at Memorial Park, 1401 Olympic Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90404.  Up to three hours of free parking is available at Memorial Park for patrons. For more information, visit smgov.net/fitnessroom or call 310-458-8237.
