His latest exhibit brings this subject into focus as Asaro’s way of bringing himself out of a long period of struggle with depression. The exhibit will run through March 24 at Bergamot Station. Vinnie Caggiano, who, like Leonardo, is from New York, is a guitarist who uses the technique of “looping” to create his multitextural sound. Together, they’ll be performing in this benefit for Project Nightlight, an organization that fights against child abuse. 50 % of proceeds from CD sales by Leonardo and Caggiano will go to the cause and the music itself is a free gift!
