In addition to being the former front man of the seminal LA punk outfit Black Flag, Henry Rollins has spent a generous portion of the last several years touring the world, sharing his ultra-frank spoken word take on the state of things. Currently, he is the host of IFC’s Henry Rollins Show. On this night, Rollins will be paired in conversation with Amanda Palmer, singer/songwriter and pianist for the Dresden Dolls, an ultra-unique musical troupe hailing from Boston.

13th Annual Culver City Music Festival: Surf City All-Stars, July 12, 7-9pm
Beginning Thursday, July 12, and continuing each subsequent Thursday through August 30, one of LA’s blossoming communities plays host to its annual Culver City Music Festival. Tipping things off will be the Surf City All-Stars. Also scheduled for future evenings will be artists such as Los Pinguos, the Jonathan Stout Orchestra and Big Sandy and His Fly-Right Boys.
