Thursday, May 19 The UUCCSM Choir, under the direction of Steve Wight, will present a concert of songs of activism and protest from different eras of the 20th century on Saturday, May 21, at 7 PM, at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Santa Monica, 1260 18th St. (on the corner of 18th and Arizona) in Santa Monica. Admission is $12. All proceeds go to the church. Wednesday, May 25 In honor of Veteran’s Appreciation Month, the State of California Employment Development Department/ West Los Angeles Job Service will be sponsoring a Veteran’s Resource Fair from 1:00 p.m. to 4: 00 p.m., in the parking lot at 13160 Mindanao Way, Suite 105, Marina Del Rey. This fair will provide Veterans with information on veteran services and benefits as well as employment and community resources available to them.
