The Santa Monica American Legion baseball team won two games in the Sixth Area Tournament last weekend but also lost two and did not advance in the state tournament.
Santa Monica defeated Chatsworth, lost to Newbury Park, defeated Malibu and lost to West Covina.Two losses resulted in elimination. Santa Monica and Malibu both lost twice.
