Edgemar Holds Third Annual Gala:

Edgemar Center for the Arts’ third annual gala, “By the Sea,” will be held Saturday, October 22.

On the evening’s bill are highlights from its award-winning French cabaret, “The Night of the Black Cat,” with a new cast and new acts, and the opening of Lyndie Benson’s “Portraits” in the gallery.

Jason Alexander will be master of ceremonies for the evening.

Among the special guests will be Keely and Pierce Brosnan, Kenny G., Traylor Howard, Sharon Lawrence and Allison Janney.

This third red carpet evening will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7. The entertainment will begin at 8, and there will be a post-show reception.

Tickets are $1,000 for the dinner, show and post-show reception, and $250 for the show and post-show reception, For tickets, call (310) 392-7327.

Proceeds will benefit the Center and its programs.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.The gala will get underway at 7:30 p.m.
