The Santa Monica College women’s soccer season was so succesful the team was chosen to host an opening round match in the Southern Regional tournament to begin the state playoffs.
SMC hosted Mt. SAc last Saturday at John Adams Middle School but lost, 3-2.
The game was tied at the end of regulation play and remained tied after two overtimes before the outcome was decided.SMC is coached by Aaron Benditson.
