The event is part of the Petersen Automotive Museum’s “America on the Move: A Route 66 Centennial Parade,” which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the historic highway.
Dodge will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Charger on Sunday by participating in a Route 66 Centennial parade from the Petersen Automotive Museum to the Santa Monica Pier, where the automaker will also display several current and classic vehicles.
The event is part of the Petersen Automotive Museum’s “America on the Move: A Route 66 Centennial Parade,” which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the historic highway.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Dodge plans to enter four vehicles, including a 2026 Charger Scat Pack, a 2026 Charger R/T, a 2026 Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak and a 1968 Dodge Dart.
Following the parade, the vehicles will be displayed at the Santa Monica Pier from 9 a.m. to noon. The public will be able to view several Dodge models, speak with company representatives and participate in promotional activities, including giveaways while supplies last and entry into a Stellantis sweepstakes.
The automaker also plans to display a 2026 Charger Scat Pack Plus four-door, a Charger Scat Pack two-door, a Charger R/T, a Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak and the restored 1968 Dodge Dart at the pier.
